The Desk

Algometica publishes research on how influence moves: networks of accounts, the lines they carry, the moments those lines hop platforms. Behind that is a data practice. Warehouses, ingest, graph storage, audits.

The object of study is the network and the story it is moving. Farms, proxy media, amplifiers, newsrooms: all fair game when the week's sources name them. Populations are not. A country shows up in a note when the evidence names it.

Graphika is a method to learn from, not a costume. They map accounts, communities, and narratives. Coordination is a structure problem. Their reports are sources. Their charts are not republished as original work.

A note here should be something a skeptic can use. Cite the vendor or the outlet. Say whether it looks coordinated, organic, or a real event with a manufactured package on top. Put the opinion at the end, not in the headline.

Critics are not automatically bots. A farm gets named when the structure is in the source. A newsroom gets named when the frame is the story.

The stack is consulting. The next note lands here.
